About this site
Boats leave the Vltava embankments in central Prague all day, and from the bridge they can look interchangeable: the same glass-topped hull sliding past Charles Bridge toward the Castle. They are not the same. Which pier you need, whether a meal is really included, whether the boat threads the narrow Čertovka canal by Kampa Island or stays on the main river, and what the ticket actually costs: sorting that out is the whole job here.
How the listings are checked
Each Vltava cruise here was read one product page at a time, on screen, and nothing was lifted from another comparison site or a press release. Some sailings turn up twice, the same departure sold by the same operator on a second marketplace, and those twins are reconciled rather than counted again, so the same boat's reputation is not split across two entries.

Each rating and review count was read on two independent passes rather than one, and where the two disagreed the live listing read is what prints while the disagreement stays on file instead of being averaged into something tidy. They are a floor rather than a quote: fares move with the date, the option you pick and the currency the platform shows for your region, so every card opens the listing where the real number lives. Some listings display in pounds, some in dollars, some in Czech koruna depending on where you book from, which is exactly why the live listing stays the authority on what you pay. |

Several operators run these sailings, among them Prague Boats, Premiant City Tour, Jazzboat and Pražské Benátky (the "Prague Venice" canal boats). Most of the central departure piers cluster along Dvořákovo nábřeží near Čechův most, with the historic paddle steamer pier a short walk upstream at Rašínovo nábřeží. |
| Routes and what you actually see | Quoted per sailing, because the routes differ. The main-river cruises run past the National Theatre, Charles Bridge and up toward Prague Castle. The small-boat canal trips slip into the Čertovka, the narrow "Devil's Channel" beside Kampa Island that gets called "Prague's Little Venice", which the larger dinner and sightseeing boats cannot enter. A sightseeing loop, a lunch cruise, a three-hour dinner sailing and a live jazz cruise are four different evenings, and the pages keep them apart. |
| Timetables, boarding and policies | The operators' own timetables and terms. Boarding on the central piers generally opens ahead of departure and often closes about ten minutes before the boat leaves, so arriving twenty to thirty minutes early is the plan. Cancellation windows, child fares and weather terms are quoted from the operator or the listing rather than paraphrased, because on the Vltava a high-water week can change what runs. |

How the site makes money
Booking happens on the operator's own listing, never here. The price you see there is identical to the price you would see arriving at that listing directly. No operator has paid to appear on this site or to sit higher on a page, and where a category leads with one sailing it is the most-reviewed sailing in that category rather than the one that earns most.
